Privacy Policy

This policy explains what ModelCrew collects, how your own provider credentials are handled, and what leaves ModelCrew when your AI teammates work.

Effective date: 21 September 2026 · Last updated: 21 September 2026

1. What ModelCrew is

ModelCrew is a workspace where you configure AI teammates, group them into projects and connect third-party AI and service providers you already use. ModelCrew coordinates those providers; it does not operate its own AI models.

2. Information you provide

  • Account information such as your email address and authentication details.
  • Private Beta request answers and an approximate country/region (detected from our hosting network when available; earlier requests may include a country you chose). We do not store your IP address for this.
  • Optional profile details you choose to add: display name, job title, age range and gender.
  • Project content: names, objectives, focus notes and work history.
  • Team configuration: teammate names, roles, instructions and settings.
  • Messages and instructions you write in a project conversation.
  • Uploaded files where the product supports them, such as teammate avatars.

3. API keys and connected services

  • You may supply your own third-party API credentials (bring your own key).
  • Credentials are encrypted before storage and are handled server-side only.
  • Raw credentials are not intentionally displayed again after they are stored.
  • Credentials are used to make requests to the provider you selected, on your instruction.
  • ModelCrew does not control those providers' own data practices.

4. Third-party AI providers

When a teammate runs on a provider you connected, the relevant prompt and conversation context is sent to that provider — for example OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta, DeepSeek, Kimi/Moonshot or OpenRouter. That content is then subject to the provider's own terms and privacy practices. Providers differ in how they retain data and whether they use it for model training, so review the terms of each provider you connect.

5. Usage and operational data

  • Token counts reported for each request.
  • Estimated costs, including reserved and settled amounts.
  • Request status and delivery state.
  • Which provider and model handled a request.
  • Technical errors, in sanitized form, for reliability work.
  • Security and audit information, such as administrative role changes.

6. Project data

Project conversations, teammate configuration and work history are stored so your workspace persists between sessions and across devices where you sign in.

7. Security

ModelCrew uses reasonable safeguards: authenticated access, per-account data isolation, encryption of stored provider credentials and server-side authorization checks. No online service can be described as completely secure, and we do not claim that.

8. Data sharing

ModelCrew does not sell personal information. Information is transmitted to the AI providers and tools you select, in order to perform the functionality you requested, and to the infrastructure providers used to host the service.

9. Data retention and deletion

Account and project information may be retained while your account is active. You can delete projects in the product, and you may request deletion of your account data where that is supported.

10. Children's privacy

ModelCrew is not intended for children under 13 and should not be used by them.

11. Changes to this policy

This policy may change as the product develops. The effective and last-updated dates above reflect the current version.
